"Designers Junior Serpa, 29 and Leobug, 31. have been friends for 10 years. They met in the beginning of internet chats and since then they have been accompanying each other's works. Earlier this year, Leo joined Junior at DoisDesign. They want to unite the arts and fashion. "We sell an exquisite elegance. This is the goal. We also love technology and want to show that it is possible to be elegant through its use" says Junior. The innovation of European design bureaus, added to the recognised quality of the Brazilian manufacture, equals a positive result. The Union of these differentials is the goal of Emiliana, brand of footwear launched in 2015 and formed by a group of international investors. Junior Serpa is the name behind the designer's image direction and prepared for spring summer 2017 a collection whose mood looks at Brazil and Tropicalism, keywords in composés with tropical birds printed in various colors. "The world delights itself with the Brazilian diversity." he says. For the campaign, the brand worked with big names from behind the scenes of fashion, among them, the Model Aline Weber, award winning beauty artist Robert Estevão and photographer Zee Nunes.
SEING SUCCESS
Graduated in Visual Communication at PUC Rio and with post-graduation in Branding for Fashion Business at Saint Martins in London,Junior Serpa is the responsible for the creative direction of Emiliana. Before, he was responsible for Marketing at Richards, where he launched the feminine line of the brand from 1999 to 2006. On his resume, cases with big names, among them, TV Globo with Giovanni Bianco, Louis Vuitton Latam, L'oréal Paris. He made his name as creative and art director on campaigns for brands such as ATeen, Sacada and Club Chocolate. - Vogue Brasil
